Interestingly,so many people allow their circumstances to dictate their attitudes.

There is no information reaching them that;

 Attitude is a choice!.

Scripture encourages us to Always put on a fresh new mental attitude.

See this:

"So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you." Romans 12:1-2 MSG .

Irrespective of what the situation with your spouse may be, we are encouraged to choose to focus and place it before God as an offering.

Get excited about your everyday life. 

Negative thinking always makes the small stuff seem so much bigger,until you start living in constant worry and frustration. 

Remember, we all face different difficulties,obstacles that seem impossible to overcome. The difference between those who get stuck in them and the ones who rise above it is their Attitude!.

Make a list if you have to, so you can see clearly the good things in your life  that are worth celebrating and make a decision to maintain the right attitude irrespective of the situation.

The situation can only pass,if you maintain the right attitude.

Your spouse can love you much more than you could ever imagine and you could end up living happily ever after.

Say It As It Is…….

When dealing with your spouse, 

Never be afraid to be who you are with him/her. 

That is the one person you should be ‘vulnerable’ with, in the first place. There is no reason to be shy about anything whatsoever when you're with your spouse.

The intimate love relationship is something so beautiful, too beautiful than I can describe. 

God is so on point when He said “…and two shall become one…” 

I think that’s just the best way to put it. It is a bond tied for life, an infusion of souls, this thing God did, is just amazing. It’s a realm that should function just the way it was designed to be.

So, never be afraid to tell your partner whatever it is. Don’t be shy to be yourself around your partner. Don’t hold anything back. Say it as it is and be confident of your safety.

But if you find yourself always walking around on egg shell, and can’t be with your partner the way you really want, then it is an abnormal way of life. That wasn’t what God did; man formed that way and allowed the devil to tell him a lie.

An honest chat with your partner can turn that around for you two, but if that won’t work, then pray!

 Pray to the point you start seeing results.

The key to every lasting relationship is communication. 

Be so fond of each other that you get to gist about nothing! Laugh about everything. Never ever get to the point where you feel too old being this way. God designed this way to last for a life time!!!

I watched a movie sometime ago titled ‘something’s gotta give’.

It was a story of a full grown; old man who always flirts with girls. One day he met an older lady as well and as usual, never takes his relationships serious. The lady fell in love with him so bad that she confronted him one day expressing how much she loves him, crying and all that drama…the man could not believe and comprehend what she was saying. The lady got offended when she realized the man was acting really dumb. Smiles…..She left him and cried for many days, thinking about him and so on…after many years; the man realized he had never felt anything he had ever felt for this woman in his entire life. He knew it was love. He went searching for the woman after say 6 years or so….and eventually found her in Paris on her birthday. So many things happened but he got an opportunity to confess to the lady;He said: 63 years of my life, this is my first time of falling in love.(I paraphrased that line).They got married of course and lived in the most happy way.

I cried so much when I watched that movie because I realized a lot of people don’t even know what love is, how that they may never experience this beautiful feeling their entire life. And that taught me to cherish the life I have now, cherish my spouse and learn to savor every moment like it’s my last, to go all the way and do all I can to enjoy my relationship no matter what!

Your relationship with your spouse is special. Never treat it as common. Love is worth celebrating every day.

Never bottle up anything! Give your thoughts and feelings full expression.

Life is too short to be unhappy for 60seconds.

Life is all about this simple but powerful word.

Change happens whether we realize it or not, it happens when we are unaware of its existence.

Change is EVERYTHING! Understanding the power of change will transform your life from victory to victory.

There was a time you weren’t as grown as this…

When you didn’t know the things you know now………

When you were fed and taught, but you are feeding yourself and teaching yourself now…..

When you were a young lady and now you are a married woman………

When being born again used to be an old fashioned way, but now you know being born again is the real deal….

Change happens all the time. 

Your attitude when change is going on is something I want to focus on at this moment.

A lot  of times we don’t like how change happens because we want our lives to go in a certain direction and it’s not happening, you always think life would be different if only you had this thing or if only things happened to you in a different way.

You have to stop that thought right away because it’s a trap that the devil uses to hinder you from enjoying God's best. The way you want your life to go may just not be the right way for you. As long as you have come to Jesus, and He is your Lord and Saviour, then, however the direction of your life goes, know and believe He is working it out for your good and He is in complete control.

You may have been praying and hoping to get married to a kind of man you have painted for yourself, probably a Tall, Dark & Handsome guy, and along the line ,someone you never thought you would be attracted to come knocking on your door, and then you cry asking God, why???????

Smiles…….

That may just be the person that would stay committed to you for the rest of your life!

Change is beautiful,Welcome it! Give room for it, Stay open and accept where God has you today.

It’s only a matter of time when everything comes together in full picture and you will understand why things have gone in the other direction.
