Loneliness....


This is a very serious aspect in relationships as you find a lot of couples  feeling lonely even in their relationships.

 But the question is Why?

Loneliness is a feeling of emptiness or hollowness inside you. In other words, You feel isolated or separated from the world. Its actually a state of mind, that  causes people to feel empty, alone and unwanted. People who are lonely often crave human contact, but their state of mind makes it more difficult to form connections with other people.

Loneliness is a killer as it not only hurts emotionally, but triggers the secretion of extremely damaging stress hormones.

You could have people around you throughout the day or even be in a lifelong marriage, and still experience a deep, pervasive loneliness.

loneliness is strongly connected to genetics., Other contributing factors include situational variables, such as physical isolation, moving to a new location and divorce. The death of someone significant in a person's life can also lead to feelings of loneliness.

Medical experts confirms loneliness can also be a symptom of a psychological disorder such as depression.

Loneliness can also be attributed to internal factors such as low self-esteem.

People who lack confidence in themselves often believe that they are unworthy of the attention or regard of other people not knowing that this can lead to isolation and chronic loneliness.

We can go on and on about the causes and how disastrous loneliness can be,but you also have to note that its contagious.(imagine a husband whose wife is lonely,there's  every tendency the man will get to that point someday).

Before you allow loneliness to take over your life and destroy you,here's  a few curative methods


  • Recognize that loneliness is a sign that something needs to change.



  • Understand the effects that loneliness has on your life, both physically and mentally.



  • Focus on developing quality relationships with people who share similar attitudes, interests and values with you.



  • Expect the best. Lonely people often expect rejection, so instead focus on positive thoughts and attitudes in your social relationships.


Do not let loneliness get the better of you,you can control your emotions by redirecting your mind to think good thoughts and lovely reports.
Watch your life go in the direction you have always wanted!
