Let's take a look at Adi 's early growth in his business.

Remember we said yesterday he was determined, His sights was on bigger things and he wanted to produce further technical innovations for the shoe,which he eventually did, little by little. 

Interests picked up through word of mouth marketing and he always made time to attend important sporting events in Germany, where he lived.

He sold shoes to sports club and athletes before expanding to supply footwear to participant at the Olympic games.

4 years later, he launched his tennis shoes and it began to gain the popularity he desired as he realised the athletes were the best advertisement for his products, so he wanted top celebrated sporting people to generate a buzz around d brand. 

He became the first entrepreneur to use sports promotion to raise awareness of his products.

Then,something happened....

There was an outbreak of second world war and the factory was seized by the military..Rudolph was seized into the army But Adi couldn't be bothered, he kept his focus. The war ended and he continued doing what he knew how to do best, from the scratch again. 

The business grew, but without his brother Rudolph this time, they had become increasingly at odds with each other and then decided to Part ways.

That split marked the start of a bitter rivalry and Rudolph took half of the company's shoe making machines and started another shoe brand. Today,the company became PUMA.

I am sure we all know PUMA. What you don't know is that its existence made it one of ADIDAS  fiercest rivals.‎

Important Lessons to note concerning today's food for thought(Still about ADI'S success)...

1.His business Grew.

2.He attended important events that had to do with his vision. He acquired ideas,knowledge,and more opportunities. 

3.He was innovative and not passive
4.Help comes at different stages of your accomplishments.Refuse to be perturbed when  someone who offers to help you at your early stage leaves you at the next stage.Just keep moving regardless.Another Help will show up.

5..He faced a challenge, but couldn't be perturbed in the face of the adversity.He maintained his focus and started all over. 

The challenge gave birth to several new inspirations and ability to drive in more effort, as Puma was pulling some stunts in the market as well.‎

Success is quite Easy when you know who you are and what you've got.Adolf proved this quite right,studying  his actions and his style of refusing to cower at the daunting situations he faced.
